Reggie Rogers, who resigned as the head football coach at Bonnabel earlier this year, will join the coaching staff at John Ehret, SportsNOLA has learned.

It is not known what roles Rogers will fill at Ehret as a coach or teacher, but he has experience in the classroom teaching autistic students.

A player for Bonnabel from 1989-91, Rogers became the head coach at his alma mater in 2011 and spent six seasons as coach of the Bruins. He had a record of 17-41 at the school before he was asked to stop down.

Before taking over the program at Bonnabel, Rogers served as offensive coordinator and running backs coach at Helen Cox. He spent seven years at Cox and previously served as an assistant at Bonnabel.
