NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana Director of Athletics & Recreation Jason Horn has announced three promotions within the Athletics Department. XULA has elevated Ashley Baker to Associate AD/Senior Woman Administrator, Alan Green to Director of Tennis and Ed Cassiere to Assistant AD for Communications.

“We are fortunate to have an outstanding staff that works diligently on behalf of our student-athletes and the university,” Horn said. “I am pleased to recognize the dedication and hard work of these staff members. These new titles better reflect their leadership in our department.”

Baker joined the XULA staff nearly a year ago. In December, she received her doctoral degree from the University of Georgia. Green’s position is an addition to his duties as head coach of men’s and women’s tennis as he works with non-XULA tennis groups for events at XULA Tennis Center. This is Green’s 14th season as coach of both squads. Cassiere is in his 11th year at XULA and will continue to spearhead publicity and social media presence for the department and its nine intercollegiate teams.

XULA is a mamber of the NAIA and the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
