MONROE, La. – ULM men’s basketball head coach Keith Richard has announced the addition of Tariiq Jones as a part of the spring signing period. Jones joins the Warhawk program from Schoolcraft College in Michigan.

“We are happy that Tariiq has decided to sign with us. He is a versatile player that can play multiple positions,” said Richard. “His length and skill level will add another dimension to our team.”

Jones, a 6-7 forward, averaged 11.6 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game at Schoolcraft College last season. He shot 50.5 percent from the field and hit 46.4 percent from three-point range while helping lead Schoolcraft to a 23-6 record and the 2017 Michigan Community College Athletic Association Championship.

Jones joins Michael Ertel, Donovan Walker and Calvin Anderson, who each signed with the ULM program during the early signing period in November. More information on those three players can be found here.
