St. Charles Catholic quarterback Lloyd Nash named Metro Prep Player of the Week

Junior quarterback Lloyd Nash III of St. Charles Catholic has been chosen as the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl/Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club, SportsNOLA.com, WHNO TV 20, WGSO, 990 AM and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for Week seven of the prep football season.

Nash rushed 24 times for 330 yards and two touchdowns and had two tackles defensively as St. Charles Catholic defeated Newman 38-19.

Coached by Frank Monica, Nash will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at The Cannery, 3803 Toulouse Street in New Orleans.
