Senior Brock Sanders is medically disqualified due to foot injury

New Orleans – Tulane head football coach Curtis Johnson announced today that redshirt freshman quarterback Leon Blouin, IV has decided to the leave the Green Wave and will transfer to another school, and Johnson also announced senior defensive end Brock Sanders has been medically disqualified from playing due to a foot injury.
Blouin, who hails from Geismar, La., redshirted as a true freshman during the 2011 season and completed the 2012 spring campaign as Tulane's No. 2 quarterback.
Sanders sustained an injury to his right foot near the end of spring practice. The Johns Creek, Ga., native spent his first three seasons at Tulane as a tight end, where he started in seven of 34 games played and hauled in nine receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns. He made the move over to the defensive side of the ball during the spring season.
"This is a very unfortunate situation for Brock," Johnson said after Monday's two-a-day practices. "He had a good spring after making the transition to defense. Leon will be an asset wherever he decides to go. We wish him the best."
Johnson also announced freshman walk-on Ruston Pritchard has left the team for personal reasons.
