SportsNOLA Contributor & Pelican Sports Broadcaster Born in New Orleans and raised in Chalmette, Tommy has been involved in sports television and radio broadcasting in south Louisiana for over 20 years. Tommy is currently the general manager of Pelican Broadcasting based in Baton Rouge. He also hosts the very popular TV show "Tigers Roar" each Wednesday night at 8:00 pm which airs in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans on Pelican Sports TV. He also hosts "Pelican Sports Radio" on WUBR 910 AM, Fox Sports Radio in Baton Rouge, Monday thru Fridays from 3-5 pm. Tommy has announced hundreds of high school, collegiate and professional sports games on both TV and radio. He has hosted numerous talk shows, coaches shows, and special event programs over the years on both radio and television. As a play-by-play broadcaster, Tommy has announced Covington High School football (radio 1988-1994), Denham Springs High School football and basketball (radio 1995-2000), Baton Rouge Blaze Arena football (radio 2001), Southeastern Louisiana University football, basketball and baseball (radio 2003-2004), Southern University baseball (television 2005), ABA professional basketball national game of the week (television 2005). Tommy has been a guest on ESPN radio national programs such as; The Colin Cowherd Show, Mike & Mike in the Morning, Doug Gottleib Show and the John Kincaid Show. He has also appeared on many regional and other syndicated radio programs over the years. Tommy is a huge music enthusiast (loves rock and roll); he also enjoys cooking and playing golf. A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University (B.A. â€" Education) in Hammond and Holy Cross High School in New Orleans, Tommy has resided in Baton Rouge since 1994. He has a daughter Bridget (24), who is married to Mike Saladino, and their sons Brayson and Landon (his grandsons), who reside in Covington. He has a son Brett (21) who also resides in Covington.
