29 Years Later, John Curtis and Winnfield Meet Again for State Title

J.T. Curtis has his team in a familiar place in December - the Dome Classic.

The last time John Curtis and Winnfield hooked up in the state championship game back in 1982 was before a lot of things: Tulane's undefeated football season, the New Orleans Hornets and the Dome Patrol. That will all change on Saturday afternoon though when the Patriots take on the Tigers in the 2A state championship at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Thanksgiving week didn't see much of good fortune. Kevin Smith was on his way to a solid game, but went out with an injury. Jordy Nelson didn't do much, and Joe McKnight didn't have the back field to himself as Shonn Greene did play. I tried to project from Wednesday to Sunday, and I missed.

Fantasy Football Focus: Week 12's Top Plays

Vince Young has proven himself once again to be a viable fantasy starter.

Last week was a mixed bag. I lumped Michael Vick and Vince Young together, and said not to start whoever plays. Young started and only out-performed nine other starting quarterbacks despite the two touchdowns he threw.
