Conference tournaments begin this week as teams look to lock up automatic bids. Tulane and Southeastern are on the bubble needing to win their conference tournament without having to wait to see if they will get an at-large bid.

The Green Wave won two of three against Marshall this past week but have work to do this week in the Conference-USA tournament. Tulane have a 59 RPI in the NCAA and Boyd's World while they are 58 in Warren Nolan.

The Green Wave (37-18, 14-10) will face East Carolina at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night in pool play at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Miss.

Southeastern (36-19, 20-12) won two out of three against McNeese State to close out the regular season. The Lions will take on Central Arkansas Wednesday night in San Marcos, Texas in the Southland tournament. Southeastern has a 56 RPI in NCAA and Boyd's World while the Lions sit 54 in Warren Nolan.

LSU (42-14, 19-11) has a seven RPI in the NCAA and Boyd's World while they ranked 6th in Warren Nolan. The Tigers may have sealed a national seed after winning two of three from 2nd ranked South Carolina and taking the SEC regular season title. But nothing is guaranteed yet. LSU will face Mississippi State on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala.

Other Louisiana schools will have to win their conference tournaments to make in into the field of 64 which will be unveiled on Memorial Day. Southern and Grambling seasons are over after Prairie View A&M won the SWAC tournament.
