Allee-Walsh joins sportsnola.com after spending over 32 years with the Times-Picayune, including the last 23 covering the New Orleans Saints and NFL. Prior to that, Allee-Walsh worked for as the Public Relations Director for the Triple A New Orleans Pelicans (1977).
A native of Seattle, Washington, the 57-year old Allee-Walsh grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating from Brebeuf Jesuit High SchooI (Indianapolis) and Indiana University in 1975 with a B.A. in Journalism. Allee-Walsh is married to Jennie (33 years), a native New Orleanian and Newman graduate. They have three daughters, Katie (28), Jessie (25) and Sarah (21). The Allee-Walsh family resides in Algiers Point. Brian started in the New Orleans market as the Sports Editor of the St. Bernard Guide in 1976. Allee-Walsh has captured numerous state and national awards for his work. He is a member of the Pro Football Writers of America (22 years) and a member of the Golf Writers Association of America. Allee-Walsh is a member of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Media Selection Committee and the Saints Hall of Fame Media Selection Committee. Brian is an analyst on WHNO-TV's sportsNOLAtv program on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. and serves sportsNOLA.com primarily in the capacity of editorial columnist covering the New Orleans Saints on a regular basis.
