New Orleans Saints dynamo Darren Sproles sat out the first team practice of the week due to a hand injury, interim head coach Joe Vitt announced.

Sproles suffered the injury during a 34-14 loss by New Orleans this past Sunday night at Denver. Wideout and special teams captain Courtney Roby was also injured against the Broncos and sat out practice with a left shoulder issue.
