Just a reminder that the New Orleans Boosters will host their annual Grand Slam Gala this Saturday night (June 26) at Delgado's Student Life Center. The evening features a live band, open bar, dinner buffet, drop raffles, and a chance to win up to $3000 in cash prizes in the Grand Raffle. It's a great evening of dinner, dancing, and fun times catching up with friends, old and new.

Three anniversary teams will be honored at this year's Gala as the teams celebrate anniversaries of their AAABA Championship summers. Members of the 1955 (55th anniversary), 1995 (15th anniversary), and 2000 (10th anniversary) will be on hand to celebrate their championships.

The event features former players, coaches, families, and friends of New Orleans Baseball and raises the funds necessary for the Boosters' operation of the All-American League and the team' s annual trip to Johnstown, Pennsylvania and the All-American Amateur Baseball Association (AAABA) National Tournament. New Orleans has been an active franchise in the AAABA since 1946 and looks forward to continuing the tradition each summer with another group of players making the trip from New Orleans to Johnstown.
