What’s some of your favorite designs?
I love simple designs. Sometimes all you need is a sparkly gemstone hanging from a shiny silver earwire. Simplicity and quality is my favorite design. I also love rosary linked necklaces. And wire wrapped gemstones that dangle from pretty shiny chains.
How does New Orleans inspire you?
New Orleans is inspiring in its history. The soul that runs through the city inspires me. We have been through so much in this city and we are a culture of strong, unique people. Our people cannot help but be artistically inspired by the soul and spirit that is New Orleans.

What is New Orleans style?Style in New Orleans is so diverse that I don't think it can be easily defined. Each area of the city brings with it a different look or feel. And our diverse people adjust their own personal style accordingly to match themselves (as they should).
Favorite place to shop?
That is tough one! I am really a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. So, of course, Jean Therapy. But I have recently ventured out to Sweet Pea and Angelique. I am a big fan of those two.
Where do you sell your designs?
I am currently selling my designs on Etsy and taking custom requests by phone. I have a few pieces up at Nola Pilates in Lakeview. But my goal is to find one or two of my favorite local shops to place a few of my pieces.
What is unique about shopping at your store?I offer pieces made with high quality gemstones and precious metals that are affordable. And you can choose to be involved in the creation of your next piece of jewelry. You can choose one of my designs or modify one of my pieces to match your own personal taste. You can even design something special for your best girl friend.
What is the product line?
Handmade Jewelry made with high quality, natural gemstones and precious metals.
How did fashion find you?
I purchased a necklace from a shop on Magazine Street and it broke. So I went into the Bead Shop to have them fix it and ended up taking a jewelry class. Six months later, I had created a line of jewelry that I wanted to share with others. And “Nola La La†was born!
What’s the next cool thing?
The next cool thing for me is getting into hammering metals. It would add an edgy component to my work. My cool is not your cool and vice versa, but there is a place for everything and everyone. The coolest thing ever is when you come into your own personal style.
