9:34 p.m.- Vandebilt Catholic will take home another championship a few months after thier girl's basketball team won a 4A title.  The Lady Terriers started slow but their pitcher found their stride and were able to score a fews runs.  Sam Houston just could not take advantage of opportunites when they were there but they played a hard fought game.

9:20 p.m.- Vandebilt Catholic wins the 4A State Titile, 3-2!

9:16 p.m. - Destinee Nicholas leads off for the Lady Tigers.  Nicholas squeezes a single down the 3rd baseline.  Nicholas advances to 2nd on a passed ball.  Taylor Webre pops out to short for the first out.  Courtney Dutreix goes down on strikes for the scond out.  Summer Melancon gets an infield single.  Elise de Bruler steps in for Hahnville.  deBruler walks to load the bases.  Amye Barre pops out to end the 6th inning
