Festival season is in full swing and so is festival fashion. This weekend's French Quarter Festival will feature amazing acts on 17 stages throughout the French Quarter and it's all totally free!  French Quarter Fest is an amazing opportunity to enjoy the best local acts as well as our beautiful city.  As with any event, dressing appropriately will help make your experience the best it can be.  Keeping comfortable means protecting yourself from the sun and what better way to do it than with a locally handmade hat from Kabuki which are available at Dutch Alley on Decatur St.  If you're really feeling it, bring along a parasol which in addition to keeping you cool will show off your ties to New Orleans culture.  For all you hip New Orleans gents, take a peak at Alton Osburn's collection of handmade linen shirts.  All of Alton's creations are handmade at the Colton School Studio Room 102 located on St. Claude open everyday from noon until 8.
