Fontainebleau, Sacred Heart earn top seeds for Louisiana soccer playoffs

The girls playoff pairings are set with bi-district games to be played on Friday.

In Division one, Fontainebleau claimed the #1 seed and will host 32nd seed Chalmette Friday at 3:30 p.m. Mandeville is the third-seed and will host Pineville Friday at 4 p.m. at Lakeshore High School. Dominican is the fourth-seed and will host Barbe Friday at 5:30 at Tad Gormley Stadium.

In Division two, St. Louis Catholic is the top-seed and they have a first round bye and will play the winner of the Alexandria at Leesville game Friday. Vandebilt Catholic is the second-seed and the Terriers also receive a first-round bye. They will play the winner of Belle Chasse vs. Haughton in the second round. Ursuline is the fourth seed and gets a first-round bye as well. Ursuline will face the winner of Calvary Baptist and West Ouachita in the regional round.

In Division three, Sacred Heart of New Orleans is the top-seed and gets a first-round bye. Sacred Heart will play the winner of Friday’s McGehee and Northlake Christian contest in the regional round. Ben Franklin earned the fifth-seed. The Falcons will play host to Independence Friday afternoon.
