Ben Franklin remains unbeaten in district

Ben Franklin remained unbeaten in District 7-III, downing Riverdale in three games, 25-22, 25-13, 29-27 Tuesday afternoon.
Abby Olinde produced 30 assists to lead the way for the Falcons, who improved to 14-7 overall and 2-0 in district play. Riverdale fell to 14-6 and 0-2. The Rebels return to action Wednesday at home against West Jefferson.
Ursuline moved to 2-0 in 7-III, easily defeating Xavier 25-13, 25-8, 25-4. Brooke Moss had 35 assists to lead Ursuline, now 17-2 overall.
In non-district play, First Baptist remained unbeaten, running its record to 7-0 with a 25-19, 25-8, 25-12 victory over Crescent City.
