With most of their 2013 class filled, LSU now has kicked into a higher gear to secure talent for their 2014 haul.
Another prospect with 'scary' talent plans to don purple and gold on the college level. And unlike the horror movie villian who has a last name pronounced the same way, this Voorhies is one LSU wants to have a around.
Woodville (MS) Wilkinson County athlete Devin Voorhies became the third verbal commitment to the Tigers among high school juniors-to-be this fall.
According to 247sports, the 6-foot-1, 180 pounder took an unofficial to LSU's campus in June for camp and then came back to Baton Rouge over the weekend.
Voorhies is considered one of the best overall athletes as a safety in Mississippi and nationally.
