LAKE CHARLES - Tickets for the July 24 Roast to honor legendary McNeese State University Sports Information Director Louis Bonnette are still on sale at the McNeese Ticket Office. Bonnette is retiring after 46 years of service to McNeese and proceeds from the event will help to fund a scholarship in his name.

The event will be held July 24 in the Event Center at L'Auberge Casino Resort. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. and will include a cash bar, dinner, and a Roast of Louis by friends, colleagues, and former student-athletes. Houston television sports anchor, and former McNeese football letterman, Butch Alsandor will serve as master of ceremonies.
