Men's Basketball - Cowboys fall to 23rd-ranked Tar Heels, 97-63

McNeese State played in front of one of its largest crowds in school history on one of the grandest venues in college basketball but it was the exceptional first half play from 23rd-ranked North Carolina as the Tar Heels built a 54-23 halftime lead and went on to defeat the Cowboys 97-63 Saturday in a nationally televised game and in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
