The cornerback position for the Saints continues to suffer by attrition.

P.J. Williams will be placed on injured reserve, according to Alex Marvez of the Sporting News. The second-year cornerback was carted off the field this past Sunday with a concussion.

Saints head coach Sean Payton indicated Monday that “all the news is positive” regarding Williams and his recovery. Williams suffered two shots to the head while making a tackle against the Giants.

A 2015 third round pick out of Florida State, Williams missed all of last season with a torn hamstring.
