Thibodaux defensive back Amik Robertson announced his commitment to Louisiana Tech on Twitter on Monday morning:

Texas had made a strong push for the 5-foot-9, 165 pounder. Arizona, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, South Alabama, Toledo, Tulane and ULL also pursued Robertson, a versatile player who could see snaps at defensive back and receiver as well as kick return duties for the Bulldogs.

Robertson had pledged to the in-state Conference USA program in September before backing off to entertain interest from Power 5 programs. The first-team Class 5A All-State performer visited LSU this past weekend, but he decided to pledge again to LA Tech.
