Jena High’s 3 star wide receiver JaRay Jenkins represents the 11th overall verbal for the LSU football class of 2018.

The 6-foot-1, 180 pounder drew offers from Louisiana Tech, ULL, ULM, Tulane, TCU, Memphis, Mississippi State and Northwestern State. He also plans to visit Florida. Jeff Grimes was responsible for his recruiting for Tigers.

His older brother, David, was a top 250 recruit in 2011, spending time at LSU and TCU.

More quick than fast, Jenkins runs in the 4.6 range with good route running skills. He is very athletic and a hard worker. Jenkins has over 110 catches and 2,000 yards with 40 touchdowns in his prep career with one season remaining.

Jenkins jumped to the forefront in recruiting circles with a good showing at the Prime 21 camp in Dallas put on by Deion Sanders.
