THIBODAUX, La. – The Nicholls State University men’s tennis team closed out the regular season with Senior Day against Lamar, and the senior Max Sinn picked up a straight-set victory in his final home match as the Colonels were defeated, 6-1, Friday afternoon at the Colonel Tennis Complex.

Lamar (15-6, 4-0 SLC) entered the matchup looking to remain perfect in league play with hopes of capturing its second straight title, while the Colonels (5-10, 0-5 SLC) were still searching for their first league win.
