Mark Slessinger

The man led the University of New Orleans on a magical journey, guiding the Privateer men’s basketball team to its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1996 this season as UNO won the Southland Conference Tournament.

Mark Slessinger took on the challenge of a massive rebuilding project in 2011 and has grown the Privateers into a championship squad.

In life, Slessinger’s faith has led him down a path of marriage, adoption and trusting in the Lord throughout the process.

Come hear an inspiring message of faith from University of New Orleans basketball coach Mark Slessinger at noon Wednesday at Piccadilly Cafeteria, 2222 Clearview Parkway in Metairie. All are welcome to attend.
