Waco, TX – For the second straight week, a General was named RRAC Player of the Week, this time in the form of sophomore outfielder Taylor Faulk.

Faulk, from Iowa, Louisiana, had at least one hit and one RBI in the four games he played during the week as LSUA as a team went 4-1, including a series win over Mobile this past weekend at Generals Field. On the week, Faulk was seven of 12 at the plate with a double and a pair of triples, including a three RBI game in the first game of a midweek doubleheader sweep against Loyola.

Two weekends into the 2017 season, Faulk has a .444 batting average and is second in the conference with ten RBIs on the season.

The Generals (7-1) take their first road trip of the season this weekend as they head to Joplin, Missouri to take on Northwestern College of Iowa in a four-game, neutral site series. First pitch is set for 1:00 P.M. on Friday.
