Delgado hosted Mississippi Gulf Coast Wednesday evening in non-conference matchups in the Williamson Center.
The Lady Dolphins picked up their first win of the season with a 61-57 overtime victory.
Delgado trailed by 17 points prior to the comeback. Tarralyn Moses put the Dolphins on top with two free throws in the game’s final minutes before a Gulf Coast field goal tied the game 50-50 at the end of regulation. Miantee Guidry added two and Moses closed the game with Delgado’s final three points enroute to hold the Bulldogs and pick up the victory. Moses closed the game with 25 points, Mikayla Lyons had 12 and Miantte Guidry had 10.
The Delgado Men trailed by six at the half and failed to recover in the second half of play, falling to the Bulldogs 78-62. Ray White led the Dolphins with 18 points.
Delgado travels to Wesson, Mississippi to face Copiah-Lincoln on Saturday.
