Tony Hull

The move to the midwest has been good to former Warren Easton head coach Tony Hull.

After just one season on the job at the University of Kansas as running backs coach, Hull has been given a big promotion to associated head coach, announced Jayhawks head coach David Beatty on Wednesday:

It is no surprise why Hull has been rewarded so quickly by a program that had hit rock bottom. After recruiting St. Augustine playmaker Takulve Williams to sign at KU last week, Hull has coaxed commitments from five of the best players in the 2018 class from the New Orleans metro area.

Hull, a former UL Lafayette lineman and NASA engineer, spent nine years at Easton and rebuilt the program in a state title contender including a Class 5A state championship game appearance in 2014 and a state semifinals showing in 2015.
