Is another VCU loss about to be LSU’s gain?

Mayan Kiir, a 6-foot-9 post player who signed in the Class of 2017, has asked for and received a release from his Letter of Intent at VCU.

LSU just hired away VCU’s coach, Will Wade, and the Tigers were a finalist for Kiir before he signed with the Rams.

The Tigers are in need of immediate help in the paint, and the Bradenton, Fla. product who had offers from Illinois, NC State and Mississippi State would appear to be a good fit.
