LAFAYETTE, La. – As the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team nears the 2017 home opener against Southern Miss on Friday, March 3 at 6 p.m., the athletic department would like to update fans on ticket availability, parking and amenities available at home games this season.

Currently, M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field at Russo Park is at capacity and season ticket sales have been suspended due to construction. As the stadium reaches completion and more inventory becomes available, season ticket sales will resume.

Fans may continue to request season tickets by emailing the Cajundome Box Office at [email protected] All requests will be filled using the RCAF priority point system based on donations made prior to March 20, 2017.

Season tickets have been mailed out. Fans should expect to receive tickets within the week while parking passes are slated to go out next week.

Based on availability, individual game tickets will be sold at the Ticket Booth in front of Russo Park on the day of each game.

Seating for the 2017 season will be general admission, but it will be protected in three main areas. Tickets for the grandstand seats (Sections 106-110), Supreme Rice Field Club, and Bleachers will all be protected separately and seated as general admission within each space.

For example, a season ticket holder with a bleacher ticket is able to sit in any bleacher seat on either the first or third base lines, but would not be able to use that ticket to sit in the grandstands or the Supreme Rice Field Club.

Patio boxes on the first and third base lines will be the only assigned seats at Russo Park. Temporary bleachers are being brought into the stadium to provide additional seating.

The reseating process of Russo Park will begin in April. Assigned ticket locations will be made available after the entire reseating process is complete. Please keep in mind the March 20, 2017 priority point deadline will apply to reseating.

A new addition to baseball games this season is an RCAF reserved parking lot will be accessible to season ticket holders who have made a minimum annual fund donation of $250. This donation may have been made in 2016 or 2017.

General Admission Parking will be available in the grass and on asphalt outside of the RCAF reserved lot. Tailgating will be allowed in general admission parking.

Fans are encouraged to enter through Gate 2 on Bertrand or Gate 3 on Congress to access parking for all home baseball games.

When coming to home games at Russo Park in 2017, fans should be mindful that areas around the stadium are still considered to be a construction zone. There will be several areas that will be off limits to our fans. Fans will have access to various concession stands and to restrooms at home games this season.

The Stadium Club, Suites, and upper concourse will not be accessible until the stadium has been completed. Once available, access to the stadium club will be offered to season ticket holders based on their priority point ranking with limitations associated with their RCAF donor level. Currently, no stadium club passes have been sold.
