LAFAYETTE, La. – Due to impending weather in the Lafayette area on Wednesday night, the midweek tilt scheduled for April 26 at Russo Park between the No. 20 Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team and No. 27 McNeese has been postponed till May 10 at 6 p.m.

After consulting the National Weather Service, officials from both schools determined that the lightning and severe weather associated with the incoming cold front would not afford a window for the two teams to get the game in with both teams set to travel early on Thursday.

The Cajuns (27-14-1, 13-4-1 Sun Belt) return to action on Friday at 6:30 p.m. as they head to UT Arlington for a three-game conference series.
