HAMMOND, La. – When No. 9-ranked UL Lafayette returns to Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field on March 29 to face Southeastern Louisiana, fans will get some extra baseball with the price of admission.
The teams will resume a suspended game at 5 p.m. prior to the contest already scheduled for that evening.
A single ticket, for the March 29 game, will allow admittance to both the resumption and originally scheduled contests. The stadium will not be cleared between games. Tickets dated February 17 or February 20 will be invalid.
Rained out on Opening Night, Southeastern and the Ragin’ Cajuns rescheduled the game for the following Monday, but rain affected the schedule once again.
Suspended in the bottom of the 11th inning, tied 4-4, play will resume at 5 p.m. with two outs, Taylor Schwaner running at first base and Drew Avans at the plate.
The contest originally scheduled for March 29 will follow, at least 30 minutes later, beginning no earlier than 6 p.m.
Both the resumption and regularly scheduled game will be televised live on Cox Sports Television (Charter 324 / 815 HD). Outside CST’s coverage area only, the game is available live on ESPN3, WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app. ESPN3 is also available on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Sling TV, Chromecast and Roku.
General Admission tickets for each Lion home game are $9 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3-12). Tax is included in the price of admission. Southeastern students are admitted free with a valid university ID card.
Students and campus organizations can earn points toward their Lion Up Loyalty account at any home game by checking in on the mobile app while in attendance.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.LionSports.net/Tickets or by contacting the athletics ticket office at (985) 549-5466 or 1-866-LION-TIX. Ticket office hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Fridays. The box office at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field opens one hour prior to the scheduled first pitch.
