WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Southeastern Louisiana tennis team fell to Army in non-conference action Thursday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

Southeastern fell to 3-3 overall with the loss. Army (8-4) won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches to earn the victory.

“We knew it was going to be a challenge to play indoors for the first time in two years,” Southeastern head coach Jason Hayes said. “We played hard, but give Army credit for being the better team today.”

After Army took the early doubles lead, it won all six singles matches in straight sets. The most competitive matches in singles play occurred on the bottom two courts.

On No. 5, Allyson Hayley outlasted SLU junior Dalina Dahlmans (3-3), 7-5, 6-4. Lion junior Natalie Duran (2-4) pushed Gloria Son before ultimately falling, 6-3, 6-3 on the No. 6 court.
